Post Game Jam Patch


A-SPLASH-KA managed to snag 10th place in Fish Fest out of 560 entries! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for it, I really appreciate your support. I've uploaded a new version of the game that addresses several bugs:

  • Adjusts the log hitbox to better match the sprite
  • Shortens the jump animation length from 0.9s to 0.6s
  • The "registration" that the player is jumping is now the entire jump animation
  • Better game state management throughout the entire codebase for a more consistent experience
  • Fixed an obscure bug related to the main menu fish causing issues with the jump signal
  • Added local MacOS build
  • Added local Linux x86_x64 build

In Windows Chrome I'm experiencing some choppiness with the audio. I saw this in an early build but it "magically" went away. In other browsers and MacOS Chrome it seems fine, so I'm not sure what the deal is. If you're experiencing this or if you know how to avoid this in Godot 4, please let me know!
